The CNN Digital video news team is looking to hire an associate producer on the evening shift. The core role will be being responsible for domestic news coverage, including politics and business news. Also, the producer will monitor the news of the day, pitch story ideas, gather elements, do research, write scripts and edit video in-house.
Additionally, you will also brainstorm, experiment and coordinate with writers and producers across CNN bureaus globally.
Candidates must have more than 2 years of experience working in a national or major digital media market or equivalent experience. Strong editorial judgement, working experience of industry-standard video equipment, strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and/or video production.
