CNN Business is hiring a Senior Editor to help run its Business and Markets team.
This group of 11 reporters and editors covers markets and companies and works closely with our Tech, Media and International units. We need a talented editor with a track record of working with writers on breaking news and enterprise features.
You’ll collaborate on TV and video, as well as photo and design. The ideal candidate must have a passion for business journalism and love the news. CNN Business is the newly relaunched digital vertical about the future of business, chronicling the rise of technology, global companies and markets, and the future of work.
What do we need from you?
-BA preferred or equivalent education/training/experience.
-Good knowledge of business and financial news.
-Must have 8 – 10 years digital experience.
-Must have sound editorial news judgement, an awareness of current business and finance news trends, the ability to produce broadcast quality video stories quickly and efficiently, strong communication skills, excellent teamwork and team-building skills.
