CNBC’s Make It seeks consumer finance writer

CNBC Digital is hiring for a talented writer-editor to manage their financial coverage for a broad consumer audience under the NYC-based Make It brand. Duties include helping to build new service-oriented coverage area on credit, debit, credit cards, and other financial products; and pitch, write, copy and edit engaging content for consumers.

The ideal candidate must have a strong eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills and the ability to make the information interesting. 

Additionally, the writer-editor will be required to pitch and write 1-2 stories per day, proofread stories, edit and copy content, and assemble reliable information. 

Applicants must have an experience of 3 years in editing or copy-editing. They should be able to work quickly under pressure, meet deadlines, help writers and editors improve copy under deadlines and should have an eye for detail.
