CNBC seeks news associate for “Power Lunch”

cnbc_logoThe News Associate for “Power Lunch” works with other producers and talent for the production of a live one- to three-hour show five times a week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Create on-air graphics and promos as directed by producers
-Book feeds for remote guests and reporters
-“Trigger” stock charts in control room during live broadcast
-Work closely with producers to research, select, and locate required footage for broadcast
-Assist in compiling research for anchors and producing segments when needed
-Take part in news meeting, pitch stories for show, keep abreast of business news events

Qualifications/Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Demonstrated interest in business news and current events
-Must have the ability to multi-task and work under deadline pressure
– Must be willing to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ — perks include free shuttle, free gym, dry cleaning/shoe shine services, full-service cafeteria, food trucks, and more!

– Excellent interpersonal skills
– Willingness to accommodate a demanding production schedule and flexibility to work weekends/evenings when and as required
