We’re looking for a serious news junkie – always the first person to flag great stories and videos to friends and have smart things to say about them. Must have strong writing, editing and organizational skills. Must be able to juggle a variety of news sources via RSS feeds, Tweetdeck and other tools, and sift through them quickly to identify the best stories. There will also be an opportunity for writing feature stories for our weekend editor that will appear on CNBC.com and partner sites.
M-F (40 hours a week).
Requirements: A love of news, preferably business news, and a willingness to work hard and learn.
Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ (free van service from NYC)
How to apply: If you’re interested, please send a cover letter, resume and a few writing samples (business-related is preferred) to cindy.perman@nbcuni.com.
If you have a Twitter handle, or other social media you use for professional purposes, please send that, too. Better than telling us how you share stories with friends, show us! If you have an awesome Twitter feed that makes us want to follow you, then that’s a good sign that you’re perfect for this job!
