The Eagle Times, a six-day a week daily in scenic, historic Claremont, NH, is looking for an enterprising Managing Editor to take this growing newspaper to the next level. The Eagle Times is locally-owned and hyper-local. We will soon be reintroducing two weekly products – an area-wide weekly newspaper and a weekly TMC product – back into circulation. The editor will have a solid understanding of community journalism, an eye for engaging photos, and be able to build relationships with sources and dialogues with readers. This is not a desk job. You will be an active member of the news team along with mentoring a stable of young writers, free-lancers and correspondents. Mentoring and team building are important skills.
