The CIO Journal is on the hunt for a reporter to cover the interplay of business and and technology
CIO Journal covers the defining issue for many companies around the world, the interplay of business and technology. From finance to health care, advertising, autos, retail and beyond, technology is business.
It’s changing the way companies operate, and the way they develop and market their products. In many cases, it’s changing their very business model. The chief information officer is at the center of all this change, working with other senior executives and the board to lead the company through the challenges of a digital, data-driven, mobile and connected world.
We are looking for a top-notch reporter to join our team. Boundless energy, creativity and a keen understanding of business are a must. So are the ability to develop sources within large corporations, form great story ideas, and explain complex technology with finesse. CIO Journal is a digital-first edition of The Wall Street Journal, and we must be able to juggle the demands of producing different kinds of work for different kinds of platforms.
This position is based in New York and involves some travel.
