Central Penn Biz Journal seeks reporter

December 20, 2013

Posted by Chris Roush

The Central Penn Business Journal, based in Harrisburg, Pa., is seeking an enthusiastic, driven reporter to cover York County, energy and environment, agribusiness and workforce issues.

You’ll write thoroughly researched stories for our weekly print publication, short daily stories for our website and enewsletters, blog posts and more. You’ll shoot and cut video, engage readers through social media and maintain sources so that you’re breaking news on a regular basis.

CPBJ is an award-winning niche publication that targets business executives in Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. Our team of experienced reporters works together to provide readers with stories and insights into the Central Pennsylvania business community that they can get from no other media organization.

The perks: This is an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-through-Friday job. Our parent company, Journal Multimedia, offers paid time off; health care, dental and vision benefits; free chair massages each month; and a work atmosphere in which the one of the cultural values is “have fun.”

To apply, send a cover letter, resume, and links to or PDFs of clips to Managing Editor Amy Gulli, amy@cpbj.com.
