Central Penn Biz Journal seeks a multimedia reporter

The Central Penn Business Journal is seeking an experienced multimedia journalist to join and grow with our award-winning editorial team.

The ideal candidate needs to be a multi-talented reporter, someone who can juggle the immediate news needs of the region, but also work on longer-term investigative projects that affect the rest of our coverage area, which includes Harrisburg, Lancaster and York.

Our team is looking for someone who wants to break news, thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves to experiment independently on new platforms — want to start a podcast, film a business roundtable? Let’s figure it out. Experience with blogging, podcasting, video and photography are key skills needed for this position.

We are a small, yet mighty team, but we have the much-needed corporate support that enables the right candidate to grow internally. We thrive on an entrepreneurial spirit. Our five-county market is competitive. You will work hard, and love the work.

Specifically, this position will monitor and cover financial services, law and accounting. They are among the main sectors that we cover — and crucial to our readers.
