Central New York-based writers and photographers—work with us! We’re looking for strong writers and photographers with an editorial eye who are passionate about living in Central New York.

We want people who are as enthusiastic as we are about uncovering and sharing the stories of CNY’s diverse people, landscapes, small businesses, amenities and things to do.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Since its premiere in May 2006, Central New York Magazine has been committed to telling positive and uniquely CNY stories. The magazine is a lifestyle publication produced by and for Central New Yorkers with exclusively local content. Our goal is to inspire, entertain and inform readers, and to celebrate the good life in CNY in its many forms. Our focused coverage of local shops and small businesses, regional travel destinations, food and drink, attractions, artisans and more creates an excitement about — and pride in — our area. One of Central New York’s many assets is its dedicated, innovative and resourceful people, and we’re honored to share their stories in our pages.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Typically we have stories that we assign out to writers, but open to pitches. We’re a regional lifestyle publication so everything we cover (art, culture, design, travel, food & drink, small biz, etc.) centers around the Central New York area.
