CBS seeks a multimedia journalist

CBS- the top rated, long-time news leader in Odessa-Midland, TX – is looking for a MMJ to join our news team. You’ll be responsible for pitching story ideas – plus shooting, writing and editing them for on-air and online. You’ll also be live on a regular basis. You should be able to write conversationally and quickly. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a television newsroom.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Pitching Story Ideas
  • Shooting, Writing and Editing stories for on-air and online
  • You’ll also be live on a regular basis.
  • Be able to write conversationally and quickly.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in journalism
  • An internship at a commercial TV newsroom
  • A resume reel (this is a requirement to be considered)
  • ENPS and Clickability Experience are a plus
