Responsibilities & Skills
- The editor is responsible for planning, developing and implementing news coverage strategy including breaking news, enterprise stories, sports, and features.
- This position plans the story budget
- Ensures stories are ready for immediate digital posting
- Ensures an effective workflow
- Edits stories
- Produces content as needed.
- The successful candidate will have supervisory experience
- Is able to juggle the demands of digital and print journalism
- Top candidates will have the ability to develop strong community connections
- Understand the importance of digital reporting in today’s world
- Have the ability to develop and implement successful strategy to meet company goals.
