Cape Cod Times seeks business reporter

The Cape Cod Times is looking for an experienced reporter to join our business desk. The Cape, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard are premier vacation destinations, of course, and part of the beat is the region’s tourism industry. But the job goes much deeper to cover an active and diverse business community, ranging from marine technology firms to one of the country’s most wide-ranging regional airlines. We’re seeking a talented writer who’s comfortable with both breaking news and longer-term feature projects.

Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, or equivalent experience

– At least two years of reporting experience, preferably with a daily news publication

– Fluency in social media and relevant word-processing, spreadsheet and database programs

How to apply

Send your resume, cover letter and six representative clips (or links to your work) to Bryan Lantz, Business Editor, Cape Cod Times, 319 Main St., Hyannis, MA 02601, or blantz@capecodonline.com. The deadline is Jan. 28. No phone calls, please.
