Cape Cod Times seeks business reporter

Want to go beyond ice cream and mini-golf to get to the root of Cape business?  Then this job may be the one for you.  We’re looking for a highly motivated, energetic, curious and persistent reporter to work for the Business section.

The ideal candidate knows how to tell a good story, even if it means sifting through the numbers.  There’s opportunity for motivated individuals to really put their stamp on this beat, which covers everything from financial crime to celebrity pie endorsements.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of newspaper reporting experience.  Fluency in spreadsheet and database software is preferred.

Qualified candidates should send their resume and cover letter to Linda Corcoran, managing editor, 319 Main St., Hyannis, Mass. 02601 or lcorcoran@capecodonline.com. No phone calls please.
