Business Insurance seeks reporter

Business Insurance, a biweekly news magazine and website covering risk management, commercial insurance and employee benefits, seeks a reporter to report and write stories for magazine edition and daily news items for the website.

· Candidate will work closely with assignment editors to report and write breaking news, analytical news stories and feature content.

· Position based in Chicago or Washington, DC, with some domestic travel.

Requirements

• Successful candidate must have solid reporting skills and know how to work a beat to uncover industry trends and exclusive news stories.

• Daily news reporting experience and at least 3 – 5 years’ business reporting experience preferred.

• We cover a wide range of issues so an ability to grasp a variety of subjects is vital.
