  • This reporter will provide coverage of the local school board, statewide education officials and the Montana Board of Regents.
  • The beat offers the opportunity to do high-level accountability reporting.
  • We want someone who can juggle daily stories while chipping away at long-term enterprise projects.
  • The best candidates will be curious about education and confident in their ability to translate bureaucratic jargon and complicated science for the average reader.

  • Candidates should have a four-year degree in journalism or a related field.
  • Some experience preferred, but recent college grads will be considered.
