We are currently looking for an energetic and aggressive reporter to cover the Securities and Exchange Commission, self-regulatory groups, as well as industry, state and local and other muni market groups regarding municipal-related securities issues.
The qualified candidate should have several years of experience and be able to write both breaking news for online and print quickly, as well longer-term enterprise stories. Experience covering financial markets or state and local governments is a plus. The Reporter should be comfortable with technical issues, as well as numbers and statistics.
This position is based in our Washington Bureau, which provides advantages of a fast-paced business environment in a comfortable setting located in Arlington, Va.
