Bond Buyer seeks SEC reporter

The Bond Buyer, the daily newspaper that covers the $3.7 trillion municipal bond market, is looking for an energetic and aggressive reporter to cover the Securities and Exchange Commission, self-regulatory groups, as well as industry, state and local and other muni market groups regarding municipal-related securities issues.

The reporter should have several years of experience and be able to write both breaking news for online and print quickly, as well longer-term enterprise stories.

Experience covering financial markets or state and local governments is a plus. The reporter should be comfortable with technical issues, as well as numbers and statistics.

This position is based in our Washington Bureau, which is based in Arlington, Va.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
