Bloomberg Television seeks booker in New York

Bloomberg Media is looking for an experienced Booker to join its U.S. television team.

The Booker will book news makers and compelling guests, and may also produce, write and edit live and tape segments; and field produce. The Booker will work with the Head of Guest Interviews to conceive and execute enterprising segments for TV and digital platforms.

Successful candidates will have solid understanding, experience and knowledge of financial and business news and a minimum of 3 years industry experience relevant to booking news guests. Candidates must thrive under deadline pressure and breaking news. Flexibility with hours is essential.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree
-3+ years of recent and relevant booking experience required
-Track record of experience in news segment and field producing helpful
-Experience of working in a real-time news environment
-Strong writing skills
-Flexibility with hours is essential.
-Previous financial journalism experience is preferred
