Bloomberg seeks an analytical, technically minded reporter to cover the twin worlds of venture capital and technology startups.
This person will be expected to break news and conduct analysis of the hottest companies, biggest personalities, and emerging trends in Silicon Valley, as well as to expose the unexpected ways businesses are spending their funds.
This position calls for a reporter who knows their way around a term sheet, and can bring transparency to an opaque industry. That will require cultivating data sources, and finding new ways to analyze and present that information.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Minimum of three years of business and financial journalism
-Experience working in a real-time news environment
