Bloomberg News is seeking a technology reporter in New York to cover East Coast companies, including IBM, Accenture and Xerox.
The reporter would also have responsibility for New York-based venture capital firms and startups, including Foursquare, Fab.com, Etsy, and Kickstarter. The reporter will need to break news and craft features on many aspects of the technology industry, from corporate strategy to management change, mergers to funding rounds.
The applicant must demonstrate excellent writing skills, a passion for breaking news, an ability to cultivate sources, and a spirit that’s both competitive and collaborative.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Knowledge of the economy, financial markets and business
-Minimum of three years of experience in business journalism
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under pressure
