Bloomberg is looking for a hard-nosed and resourceful Beijing-based individual that can look at the country’s largest technology companies from close proximity.
This reporter carves off some of the heavy load that is currently being handled from Hong Kong, taking over coverage of companies like Tencent, other video game and apps makers, and the Chinese search giant Baidu as it strives to build capabilities in AI and robotics.
This individual would also collaborate with automotive team that is currently handling Uber China and rival Didi Kuaidi as they struggle for dominance in the world’s largest Internet market.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
– Fluency in Mandarin a major plus
– Minimum of three years of business and financial journalism
– Experience working in a real-time news environment
