Bloomberg is seeking reporters in its London office to cover markets for shipping cargoes, including oil, oil products, liquefied natural gas and dry-bulk commodities. Knowledge of those markets and their place in the wider economy is essential. Previous experience of business writing at a major newspaper or wire service is preferred. The successful applicant will break news under real-time deadline pressure and work on enterprise stories and features.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
-Experience of reporting on shipping and trading of one or more of the following: crude, oil products, LNG, coal, iron ore, grains.
-Knowledge of the economy and financial markets
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure
