Bloomberg News seeks a reporter to cover Scandinavian economy and political news in our Oslo or Copenhagen bureau.
The successful candidate will produce breaking news stories under real-time deadline pressure and write stories that are clearly written and comprehensive. The candidate must have the news judgment to cover the beat with minimal supervision, build contacts, break news through interviews and write features on a broad range of topics, from political, economic and fiscal policy to financial market regulation and local interest stories.
Qualifications:
-Journalism experience is essential
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure
-Knowledge of the economy and financial markets
-Fluency in English is essential. A good working knowledge of Scandinavian languages.
