Bloomberg News seeks a reporter based in New York to cover the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities include writing about financing for wind, solar, biofuels and other energy, and policy developments across the region. The person would both file short daily stories for the Bloomberg New Energy Finance newsletter and develop more lengthy pieces for the Bloomberg Professional service and occasionally Businessweek.
The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of project finance and early-stage funding for clean energy technologies and delivering exclusive news about the industry.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience
-Minimum two years in journalism
-Understanding of financial markets or renewables
-Enthusiasm for covering energy finance
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure
