Bloomberg seeks renewable energy reporter in Brazil

Bloomberg News seeks a reporter to cover the renewable energy industry in Latin America, preferably From Sao Paulo.

Responsibilities include writing about financing for biofuel, wind, solar and other Energy projects across the continent. The person would both file short daily stories for the Bloomberg New Energy Finance newsletter and develop more lengthy pieces for the Bloomberg Professional service and occasionally Businessweek.

The ideal candidate will bring ideas and contacts in government, industry and banking to generate exclusive news about the industry and help shape coverage of energy in theregion, working on tight deadline pressure.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience-Minimum two years in journalism
-Understanding of financial markets or renewables
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under pressure
-Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential, with Spanish desirable
