Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter to join the real estate team in its New York office.
We’re looking for a seasoned reporter who can break news on major property transactions as well as step back to identify trends, with a keen eye for compelling anecdotes that bring stories to life. Successful applicants will have considerable business reporting experience, an understanding of what drives the commercial real estate industry, a solid source network and proven track record of breaking news.
The reporter also will be expected to frequently collaborate with others and should be comfortable working within a team environment.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is essential.
-Experience reporting in a real-time news environment or at a major newspaper.
-A thorough attention to detail and ability to assimilate new, complex financial information
-Knowledge of the economy, markets and business
-A good communicator, collaborator and team player who can work across platforms.
-Fluency in English is essential and any other languages an advantage.
