Bloomberg seeks private equity reporter in London

Bloomberg News is seeking an experienced reporter to cover the European private equity industry in London.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to break news on private equity firms, deals and investors, write in-depth features on the subject and be a self-starter, able to work to the highest standards without close supervision.

Responsibilities include liaising with other members on the European Deals Team to help break M&A and IPO stories.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Previous financial or business journalism experience required
-Experience of working in a real-time news environment is desirable, with experience of breaking news being essential
-Ability to write quickly, concisely and to deadline and be an enthusiastic team player
