Bloomberg seeks a writer in its Washington, DC office to cover politics.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience covering political news. The person in this role must have the ability to juggle a stream of daily stories on tight deadlines with long-term features, while also scoring scoops on the beat.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-5+ years of recent/relevant, national scale, political journalism experience
-Strong creativity, communication & teamwork skills, and deadline sensitive
-Sample of relevant clips from the last 2 years
