Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter in our New York office covering U.S. options and stocks for First Word.
The person in this role will be responsible for providing on-the-spot, concise written stories involving moves in the options markets, including tracking block trades and possible M&A targets/acquirers.
Responders to this ad should have experience covering equity derivatives in a real-time environment either at a news organization, investment bank or hedge fund. Reporters should have the ability and industry-specific knowledge to immediately discern actionable information from breaking news and have strong writing skills.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Strong work ethic, team player, ability to work calmly in high-pressure environment
