Bloomberg News is seeking a night editor in San Francisco to handle stories from the State & Local and Legal teams, working a shift from noon until 9 p.m Pacific time.
We’re looking for an experienced hand with top-flight news judgment, capable of managing a wide range of major late-breaking stories from across the U.S., including elections, hurricanes, street violence, pension blowups and corporate bankruptcies.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of editing experience at a major newspaper or news service.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
-Minimum of five years experience at a major newspaper or news service.
-Proven ability to edit clear, concise, and accurate news stories across a range of topics, including financial and legal material.
