Bloomberg seeks news editor

Bloomberg seeks a news editor for its London bureau who is familiar with the political and legal systems in Asia and Australia with an emphasis on Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia.

DUTIES:

  • Superior news judgment under deadline pressure
  • Superior ability to edit and write technical material
  • Ability to follow tax developments across several countries
  • Ability to work with reporters and editors
  • Ability to help reporters break scoops
  • Ability to use INDG publishing tools and other technology effectively

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in English, journalism, or related subjects
  • A minimum of 4 years’ journalism experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
