Bloomberg seeks loan markets reporter

Bloomberg News is seeking a Loan Markets Reporter for our First Word Credit service, based in New York. The reporter will be responsible for breaking stories about new deals in the investment-grade and high-yield loan markets as well as creating chart-based items and compiling calendars and market wraps.

You should have at least 2 years experience of credit market reporting and writing experience, with focus on loans and understand deal flow, structure and pricing and enjoy using data to present trends and developments. Experience in reporting and breaking news for a real-time news service is also required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree of equivalent experience required
  • Previous journalism experience is desirable
  • Experience covering loans markets
  • Ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure
  • Knowledge of Excel
