Bloomberg seeks hedge fund reporter in London

Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter to cover hedge funds from London.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to break news and build contacts within key hedge-funds and investors across Europe. Responsibilities also include liaising with other members on the team, and assisting with our broader coverage of the financial-services industry.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Previous financial or business journalism experience required
-Experience of working in a real-time news environment is desirable, with experience of breaking news being essential
-Ability to write quickly, concisely and to deadline and be an enthusiastic team player.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
