Bloomberg News seeks a seasoned, energetic reporter in its Detroit bureau to cover the automotive industry, with an emphasis on Ford Motor Co.
The reporter will be responsible for breaking news and crafting features on many aspects of the industry, including trends in sales, technology, finances, management, and product strategy. The applicant must demonstrate excellent writing skills, a passion for breaking news, an ability to cultivate sources and a spirit that is both competitive and collaborative.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Knowledge of the economy, financial markets and business
-Minimum of five years of experience in business journalism
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under pressure as well as to spin a yarn that weaves economic insight into the fabric of human interest.
