Bloomberg seeks First Word editor in New York

Bloomberg News is seeking an editor in our New York office to work for its First Word service.

The role involves editing and writing fast, concise stories on breaking mergers and acquisitions, earnings, IPOs, and other market-moving corporate events. Candidates must be effective team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Knowledge of U.S. equities, financial markets
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure
-Knowledge of Bloomberg’s terminal functions is desirable
