Bloomberg seeks finance reporter in Singapore

Bloomberg’s Asia-Pacific finance team is seeking an experienced reporter in Singapore to cover the banking industry in Southeast Asia, with a special focus on private banking.

Candidates should be prepared to break news, develop a broad array of sources, and write authoritatively about the industry. The role requires a sense of curiosity and the ability to propose, report and write stories that will interest Bloomberg’s global audience. A strong work ethic and a willingness to collaborate with colleagues in the region and around the world are essential.

Qualifications:
-Fluency in English in essential
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required
-Strong news judgment and proven ability to write big-picture stories is essential
-Proven ability to break news is critical
-An unwavering commitment to accuracy is essential
