Bloomberg News is looking for an economics reporter to work in Washington on the U.S. Economic Indicators Team.
The person will cover data releases and write enterprise stories highlighting the most compelling themes influencing the world’s largest economy.
Qualifications:
– An aptitude with words and numbers is necessary to succeed.
– The candidate should be able to turn complex data into a narrative accessible to market professionals and casual readers, should be able to work under tight deadlines and should be willing to collaborate with a team of dedicated reporters on breaking news and influencing decision makers.
– Knowledge of digital platforms and the ability to develop graphics is also a plus.
– 3+ years of business journalism experience.
