Bloomberg seeks economics reporter in Paris

Bloomberg News is now looking for an experienced reporter to cover the French economy in Paris.

Working together with both our regional team and our global network of journalists, the successful candidate will deliver breaking news, exclusives, and world-class analysis on France’s economics and fiscal politics in the era of Emmanuel Macron. The ability to tell a story clearly and concisely, and to seamlessly balance local detail with regional and international context is absolutely essential.

Writing about the wider European economy will also feature in this role. Frequent travel to cover euro zone officials both within France and the EU is a necessity.

You’ll need to have:

  •  Journalism experience and a track record of breaking news
  •  Ability to write English accurately, quickly and concisely under pressure
  •  Experience of working in a real-time news environment is desirable
  •  Fluent English and French are essential. Other European languages welcome
