Bloomberg is looking for a deputy news team lead, labor and employment to manager schedules and set deadlines, make reports and evaluate stories.
KEY DUTIES:
- Manage assignments and stories from pitch to publication
- Review, evaluate and edit stories
- Work with the team leader to improve writing and reporting skills
- Drive staffers to try new things and be open to change
- Manage special projects
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent editing and story-management skills
- Ability to unpack complicated legal and government actions
- Knowledge of digital news and information publishing operations
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years in journalism
- Bachelor’s degree required
