Bloomberg News is seeking a reporter for Daybreak, a new editorial product tailored for the morning news cycle.
The role will be based in New York.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years experience and strong news judgment, a proven understanding of financial markets, and be comfortable writing breaking news under deadline. Being able to write clearly while working in a no-drama team environment is essential.
The job will entail aggregating, curating and summarizing business news and markets data, as well as conceptualizing charts and graphics. Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop skills are a plus.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience
-Minimum two years in journalism
-Understanding and knowledge of markets and finance
-Ability to write quickly and concisely under deadline pressure
-Experience working in a real-time news environment
