Bloomberg News is seeking a seasoned editor for companies coverage in London.
This individual will be responsible for generating and shaping ideas, editing copy, and interacting with fellow teams across the newsroom. The successful applicant will work to produce breaking news stories under deadline pressure and assist with features, ensuring all are clear, comprehensive and accurate.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
-Ability to work in a real-time news environment and make quick news judgment
-Proven career in business journalism with experience in quick turnaround of breaking news
-Excellent editing skills
-Previous leadership experience a plus
-Knowledge of the economy, financial markets, and business
-Knowledge of the U.K. market and local business coverage preferred
