Bloomberg News is seeking an editor to work on its billionaires team.
The person in this role will help oversee our coverage in Asia, working closely with our reporters located around the globe. The person in this role will calculate the fortunes of the world’s richest people, and identify and write about new billionaires who have not yet appeared on an international wealth ranking.
The job will entail breaking news and maintaining valuations for Bloomberg’s daily wealth ranking {RICH}, as well as write and edit investigative stories and profiles for Bloomberg’s assorted media properties, including the Bloomberg Terminal, Bloomberg.com, Bloomberg Businessweek and Bloomberg Markets.
Qualifications:
– Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
– Ten years journalism experience with excellent news judgment
– Leadership experience with a proven track record
– Works independently with little direction and the ability to make decisions
– Solid written, verbal and interpersonal skills
– Some Mandarin a plus
– Motivated and inspirational
