Bloomberg seeks auto reporter in Shanghai

China is home to the world’s largest and most competitive auto market, where global giants Toyota and General Motors compete with homegrown brands like Geely and Great Wall.

The automotive industry in China is also undergoing a seismic shift with a state-led initiative to promote the use of electric vehicles.

Bloomberg seeks an aggressive and resourceful reporter who has a proven track record of breaking news on policy developments and company strategy, and can cut through the noise to write cogently about the winners and losers in this key pillar of the economy.

The Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a must
  • Minimum of three years of business and financial journalism
  • Experience working in a real-time news environment
