Bloomberg seeks an equities reporter in Zurich

Bloomberg News is seeking an equities reporter in Zurich to cover market intelligence and provide real-time analysis on Swiss stocks, one of Europe’s biggest equity markets and home of global companies including Roche, Nestle, UBS and ABB. The role involves writing fast, concise reports on markets, analyst research, M&A and other catalytic events that move stocks, as well as doing interviews and writing long-form analysis and enterprise pieces. Our successful candidate is strongly sourced, with their finger on the pulse of what’s driving the most interesting market moves each day.

We’re looking for an effective team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are known for our quality, accuracy and ability to deliver news investors can use. On the equities team, you’ll be charged with connecting the dots to provide readers with all the news they need from the world’s leading provider of financial news.

You’ll need to have:

  •  Demonstrated knowledge and experience in equity markets
  •  The ability to write quickly and concisely under deadlines
  •  Understands markets structure and is up to date on retail trading and social media platforms
