Bloomberg seeks an economy and government reporter in Saudi Arabia

Bloomberg is looking for a dynamic, self-starting reporter to cover economic and government news in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in journalism and a proven track record of producing insightful and compelling work.

They’ll have a solid understanding of economics and markets as well as the political history of Saudi Arabia and will be able to draw links across geopolitics, energy and finance.

The successful candidate will have the ability to forge sources in Saudi Arabia and a proven ability to deliver scoops. They will shape agenda-setting coverage of sovereign wealth funds, international relations and the local economy and energy industry.

The role will require collaboration with Bloomberg colleagues circling the globe and across teams covering energy, finance, climate and markets.
