Bloomberg Radio seeks anchor in London

Bloomberg Radio is the only financial and business news station, providing business leaders and influencers with breaking news and analysis found nowhere else. You will join our 24/7 operation in London to provide unique and compelling takes on daily news stories.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Collaborate with the global team for show preparation
  • Have a creative approach to topic and guest selection
  • Provide insightful business and general news for our programming
  • Gather and generate reports for other markets nationally
  • Handle other production duties as assigned

You need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Recent and relevant mid-major market TV/Radio Host and/or Reporter experience
  • A clear and energetic presentation that connects with our listeners
  • A distinctive point of view with the ability to discuss various subjects
  • Strong interview Skills
  • A knowledge of adobe audition and radio newsroom software
  • Proven skills in business and general news writing
  • Flexibilty with hours
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills
  • A track record with affiliates and syndication
  • Strong multitasking skills

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
