Candidates will have experience covering petroleum markets, with in-depth knowledge of North America. They must have deep and broad contacts in the industry and be able to write for that audience. The ideal candidate will show a proven ability to break news and write in-depth features on what’s affecting flows of gasoline, diesel and other refined products and prices in spot markets around Americas, working independently and in collaboration with reporters across the organization.
Knowledge of Bloomberg’s energy functions and data is a plus.
All candidates must have strong writing skills and will be expected to develop new contacts.
