This individual will be responsible for coverage of tax-related spot news and reporting covering but not limited to congressional action, White House budgeting, the IRS, tax court, and independent tax think tanks.

A minimum of five years of relevant reporting and writing experience is required, with a premium on strong reporting and writing as evidenced by clips.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Experience working in a real-time news environment
Ability to generate smart story ideas, develop new sources and work collaboratively
Minimum of five years of reporting experience
Enthusiasm, ability to work quickly and calmly in high-pressure environment
