Bloomberg Markets magazine seeks an editor for the Strategies section.
The editor will write and edit stories on developments in fixed-income, stock, foreign-exchange, commodities, derivatives and other markets and on using Bloomberg Professional service.
The person in the role will coordinate with Bloomberg core product, application specialists, marketing, analytics and news staff around the world to develop timely articles on current market trends and ways readers can use the terminal to take advantage of them.
The position may involve writing profiles of fund managers that discuss their approaches to investing.
The ideal candidate will be conversant with the Bloomberg terminal and its functionality and have strong writing, editing and organizational skills. An ability to work under deadline pressure is essential. A visual sense and experience with print magazine publishing is desirable.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
– Minimum of five years of business journalism experience
– Experience with the Bloomberg terminal is a plus
